En el diálogo entre naturaleza y técnica se instala la obra de Betsabée Romero. Cada pieza en ella adquiere un carácter de híbrido en el que las producciones humanas, efímeras y difícilmente reciclables a un tiempo, conviven con la naturaleza, o con una nueva intervención que cambia y da una nueva función al objeto. Lo monstruoso hace que un camión se convierta en un jardín, un neumático en el símbolo del devenir de la Historia, o unos fragmentos del mismo en los arcos de una mezquita ya urbana.

In the dialogue between nature and technique the work of Betsabée Romero is placed. Each work in her acquires a hybrid character in which the human productions, that are ephemeral and hardly reciclable at the same time, coexist with the nature, or with a new intervention that changes and gives a new function to the object. Monstruosity makes a truck become a garden, a tyre the symbol of the movement in History, or some fragments of the same one the arcs of an urban mosque.

de eso se trata: convertir lo montruoso en algo con sentido, y entonces ya no es monstruoso, ¿no?
